50's dress up

Last Friday, Colby's school had a sing-a-long and the Kindergartners were asked to dress in 50s attire. So, we pulled out Pop Pop's yearbooks and dressed like he did when he was in high school. The day before this, Colby had gone to get a haircut and Mike let him get a "1 around the edges". Colby loved his super short buzz cut and it actually helped complete his look for the 50s! The Kindergartners sang "Blue Suede Shoes"!

Holden's 3rd Birthday Party

Holden's 3rd Birthday Party was held this past Saturday at Powersports. It had a Princess Dora theme (Holden's choice!) and I'm pretty sure that Princess Holden had a fantastic time! Here are some pics...

Silly Hat Day

Last Wednesday was Silly Hat Day at Longmire. I decorated this cowboy hat with lots of things I had in my crap - I mean, craft - closet!

Humorous Hair Day

Today at Longmire, it was Humorous Hair Day. Needless to say, Holden's hair was pretty humorous. When we were fixing it, she said she wanted 5 ponytails, but I convinced her that 3 was enough (you know, because she's 3 years old...)!

Happy Easter

Happy 3rd Birthday, Princess Holden!

On Thursday, March 20th, Holden turned 3 years old! It's truly, truly hard to believe that she is already 3! Where did my baby go?! She is convinced that she is a princess and to prove it, here's one of her funniest stories...

The morning of her birthday, Colby was singing her Happy Birthday. When he got to the part, "Happy Birthday, dear Holden" she stomped her foot and in her best Holden-ese, said "it not Hoden birday, it Pincess birday". And, like any good brother, he re-sang Happy Birthday and this time said "Happy Birthday, dear Princess"... What are we going to do with her?!
Having a little family birthday party at home...
Showing us that she's 3 years old - after much practice, this has gotten lots easier!

legos, legos, and more legos

For about a year now, Colby has been totally in to legos. He's really, really good at following directions and only needed help with the decals. I was completely shocked! It took him two days to complete but he was super proud of himself when he was done!
