Holden's after bath ritual!

EVERY time Holden gets out of the bathtub, she has to lay on the bathmat and you have to cover her with her Dora towel! It is so funny! She'll lay there until you make her get up to get dressed - all the while giggling while under the towel. I thought maybe this was just something that she did at our house but she did it while at my parents house too! I'm glad I told my mom about it - otherwise she might have wondered why Holden was laying on the rug in her bathroom after her bath!

Kindergarten Field Trip

On Tuesday, April 29th, Colby went on his first public school field trip! They took all six Kindergarten classes to Hockley where we visited the Oil Ranch. Both Mike and I went to chaperon and we had three kids in addition to Colby to watch after: Ja'Mikel, Kate and Tori. We had a great time but once again I was reminded as to why I did not choose teaching as my profession!

Colby's Tee Ball Season - Dodgers

Colby began his 2nd year of Little League last month. He really enjoys playing but sometimes it's hard to make him get serious! ;) For the first few weeks, the players hit off a tee but now they have started coach pitch! They get three chances to hit a ball thrown to them and then if they don't hit it, they hit off the tee. Colby is doing really good hitting pitches thrown to him and is really excited when he "smacks" the ball!
Believe it or not, he really is NOT this intense! I just happened to catch him for a brief moment while he was in to the game!
During the games the boys rotate positions. Normally Colby will play an inning at pitcher, an inning playing first base, and an inning outfield.

What would baseball be without taking a moment to re-adjust! They learn at such a young age - ugh!
