Here are some pictures of Preston and Holden. Lucky for me, Preston's sister, Katie, has had soccer games the same time as Colby so he and Holden run back and forth between our soccer field and theirs. They are so cute together! Just look at some of Holden's many expressions - priceless!

The cast of Peter Pan - Captain Hook, Wendy Darling, and Tinker Bell - and Brett Favre. For those of you who were wondering...yes, Colby did say that he would be Peter Pan, but I just didn't have the heart to let him go through with it! I told him he could be who ever he wanted and he chose Brett Favre (again!). I hope he doesn't change teams again - these jerseys are not cheap!

The kids didn't want to carve pumpkins this year so we used the Mr. Potato head thingies again. They had fun deciding on which funny face their pumpkin was going to have.

Mike thought this one was funny because he said that Holden finally looked like me. Hhmm...I don't think that was very nice, do you?!

Happy Birthday, Mike!

Lucky for Mike, his birthday just happened to be the same day that High School Musical 3 premiered! Since we would have been there anyway, we decided to make it a birthday party. So, we went with about 15 other families and had reserved seating at the local cinema. We celebrated afterwards with a High School Musical 3 cake. Mike was a really good sport and we all had a great time - Go Wildcats!

We were late to the Texas Tech game due to Colby's soccer game. We seriously had just walked to our seats and, presto, here are Holden and Colby on the Jumbotron!

We missed Game 3 since we were on vacation and I think we were all still a little jet-lagged when game time rolled around - not many action shots!

I'm not quite sure what this is about - he walked out to the field for kickoff and put his hands together like this and bowed to the opposing team. I was cracking up!

Disneyland Vacation

Earlier this month we headed to Anaheim with another family from College Station - the Kaiser's. We enjoyed 5 days at Disneyland/California Adventure and 1 day at Legoland in Carlsbad. Fun was had by all and I can honestly say that it took us at least two weeks to recover from the exhaustion!

Colby is lego obsessed so this was a fun day for him! This park is designed for kids under 12 years of age so they could ride everything!

Colby hangs out with Chip and Dale - we were outside trying to convince Holden to come inside - she hates the characters! She will only go see the princesses! Colby had a great time at the parks and even braved some of the big rides that he didn't do in March. He rode California Screamin' - a roller coaster that blasts you from 0-55 mph in 4 seconds and sends you upside down through a silhouette of Mickey's ears - and Tower of Terror. I was very proud of him since I am a complete weenie and the tea cups is as about as adventurous as I get!

just another day at Kyle Field!

Colby and Holden celebrating the first Aggie home victory on September 27th. We have convinced them that they only allow people to play on the field after a game if the Aggies win - Mike is not fun to be around when the Aggies lose so it's best just to get him home!
